John James Audubon painted the Carolina Parakeet around 1825 — published as Plate 26 of his monumental Birds of America (1827–1838). A flock of seven brilliantly coloured parakeets, emerald wings, golden heads, and red faces, perches and feeds on spiny cocklebur branches. The species itself was extinct by 1918, making Audubon's plate one of the few surviving records of how they looked in life.

This shower curtain brings that plate to a bathroom — printed on soft polyester fabric (not plastic), with 12 button holes for hook placement. Made to order. Pairs beautifully with dark academia, eclectic, and vintage botanical bath spaces — equally at home in a guest bath, a layered primary bathroom, or against warm wood, brass, and deep painted walls.
