An anonymous 19th-century entomological plate — the kind of scientific illustration that filled Victorian natural-history volumes. Butterflies, moths, and a single caterpillar are arranged across the surface in finely drawn linework and warm earth tones: ochre, rust, soft green, and cream, against a neutral ground.
