This vintage prickly pear cactus shower curtain is drawn from a Dutch Baroque botanical study, painted on 20 September 1683 by Herman Saftleven, a Utrecht painter who worked from direct observation of plants kept in Dutch collectors' gardens. A single Opuntia stands upright — thick green pads studded with golden spines, and one pale yellow flower opening at the top against a soft cream ground.

This shower curtain brings that watercolor to a bathroom — printed on soft polyester fabric (not plastic), with 12 button holes for hook placement. Made to order.
