Pieter Bruegel the Elder painted The Fall of the Rebel Angels in 1562 — a chaotic, mesmerizing battle scene where the Archangel Michael in golden armor leads a heavenly host against a swarm of grotesque, monstrous rebel angels falling from heaven. Bursting with strange creatures, butterfly-winged demons, cracked shells, trumpets, and dynamic motion, it's one of the strangest and most compelling paintings of the Northern Renaissance.

This wall tapestry recreates the scene at full impact — deep blues, golds, and otherworldly whites — printed in Europe on premium cotton blend or polyester microfiber. Pairs beautifully with dark academia, gothic, and maximalist interiors — perfect above a bed as a textile headboard, behind a sofa, or in a study where you want quiet historic strangeness.

ABOUT THE PRINT
This is a new reproduction rather than an antique. The source is a high-resolution photograph of the original artwork, so the patina, texture, and small irregularities of the original are part of the print itself. Larger sizes are made to be read from across a room. Colors may shift slightly between screen and cloth depending on your monitor.
