Sebastiano and Marco Ricci painted "Landscape with Classical Ruins and Figures" in the early 18th century — a Venetian capriccio merging architectural fantasy with romantic melancholy. Among the fallen Corinthian columns, broken statuary, and sunlit temples, small figures wander, rest, and play with dogs — fragments of everyday life unfolding within the picturesque ruin of empire.

This wall tapestry recreates that quiet, scholarly grandeur on a generous scale, printed in Europe on premium cotton blend. Pairs beautifully with dark academia, classical, gothic revival, and grandmillennial interiors — perfect above a bed, behind a sofa, or in a study filled with old books and the slow ache of beauty.

ABOUT THE PRINT
This is a new reproduction rather than an antique. The source is a high-resolution photograph of the original artwork, so the patina, texture, and small irregularities of the original are part of the print itself. Larger sizes are made to be read from across a room. Colors may shift slightly between screen and cloth depending on your monitor.

Great image, well printed. The material was a little lighter weight than I was expecting.

We’re very happy with the wall hanging. Has a vintage tapestry look, hangs well, good colors. Happy
