Frederic Edwin Church painted Cotopaxi in 1862 — a Hudson River School master at the height of his powers, depicting the active Ecuadorian volcano he'd seen on his South American expeditions. The composition shows the snow-capped peak smoking against a fiery amber sunset, with a cascading waterfall, lush Andean valley, and a small figure on horseback below — painted at the same moment Church's American audience was facing the Civil War.
This wall tapestry brings that scene to your wall — printed in Europe on premium cotton blend. Pairs beautifully with dark academia and bohemian interiors — perfect above a bed as a textile headboard, behind a sofa, or as a dramatic anchor in a library or study.
