Gustav Klimt painted Death and Life between 1908 and 1915 — a haunting allegorical masterpiece in his fully matured Symbolist style. On the right, an interwoven cluster of human figures in every stage of life, dreaming and embracing in a swirl of ornament. On the left, a spectral skeletal Death watches them, robed in patterned crosses, observing without intervening. It's one of the most powerful works of the Vienna Secession and a defining piece of Art Nouveau.
This wall tapestry recreates that quiet drama on a generous scale — deep teal background, vivid pattern, gold ornament, the unmistakable Klimt mosaic of human form. Printed in Europe on premium cotton blend or polyester microfiber. Pairs beautifully with dark academia, maximalist, eclectic, and grandmillennial interiors — perfect above a bed, behind a sofa, or in a study where you want quiet symbolist depth.
