Ignace-Gaston Pardies engraved this celestial map in 1693 — part of the French Jesuit astronomer's six-plate atlas of the night sky. Taurus the bull, Orion the hunter, Gemini the twins, Cancer the crab, Canis Major and Hydra, the ship Argo Navis, the winding Eridanus river — the mythological figures of the southern winter sky drawn in warm sepia inks against a deep cream parchment ground, threaded with Latin star labels.

This shower curtain brings that map to a bathroom — printed on soft polyester fabric (not plastic), with 12 button holes for hook placement. Made to order.
