This celestial map captures the zodiac belt as it was charted in 1693 — a hand-engraved star chart alive with mythological figures: the mighty hunter Orion striding across the centre, the charging Taurus bull, the twin figures of Gemini, Cancer the crab, the faithful hounds Canis Major and Canis Minor, the hare Lepus, and the great ship Argo Navis sailing along the southern edge. Engraved by French Jesuit cartographer Ignace Gaston Pardies in Paris, this kind of illustrated star chart served as both a scientific instrument and a work of decorative art.

This wall tapestry recreates that scholarly grandeur on a generous scale — printed in Europe on a premium cotton blend.
