Vintage Tropical Macaw and Parrot Shower Curtain – 19th-Century Natural History Decor

An anonymous 19th-century German natural history plate — the kind of densely illustrated zoological page found in Victorian-era ornithological encyclopaedias. A bright red macaw, a dark black parrot, a vivid green parakeet, and smaller songbirds and grey-and-white avian studies catching grasshoppers, dragonflies, and bees are arranged across a warm parchment ground.
This shower curtain brings that plate to a bathroom — printed on soft polyester fabric (not plastic), with 12 button holes for hook placement. Made to order. Pairs beautifully with maximalist, dark academia, and vintage botanical bath spaces — equally at home in a layered guest washroom, a primary bath with deep painted walls, or against warm wood and brass fixtures.
