William Morris designed Pimpernel in 1876 — named for the small scarlet pimpernel flowers woven through the pattern's swirling willow boughs. It became one of Morris's most enduring textile designs and the wallpaper he chose for his own dining room at Kelmscott House.

This jacquard-woven throw pillow brings that pattern to a sofa or armchair in deep blue ground with rust-coloured blossoms — the weave gives the design a tactile depth no printed version can match. Pairs beautifully with dark academia and grandmillennial interiors — equally at home on a velvet settee, in a layered library, or paired with antique woods.
