This blue Dalmatian iris shower curtain is drawn from an antique French botanical plate — an 1813 hand-colored stipple engraving after Pierre-Joseph Redouté, the French illustrator whose plates for Les Liliacées defined 19th-century floral illustration. The Iris pallida stands tall, its violet-blue falls layered against long, ribbon-like sword leaves washed in cool blue-green.
