This Italian landscape shower curtain is a striking piece of vintage fine art — Hendrik Voogd's 1807 Italian Landscape with Umbrella Pines, painted at the Villa Borghese in Rome. Tall stone pines catch a golden Roman afternoon over a sunlit clearing with strolling figures, in the tradition of Claude Lorrain's luminous landscapes. Voogd was so devoted to that idiom he was nicknamed 'the Dutch Claude'.
