This red floral shower curtain is a lush piece of vintage botanical art — an 1880 Belgian chromolithograph of the flame tree (Poinciana regia) in full bloom, with a cascade of scarlet, coral, and crimson blossoms and striped white markings tumbling from a woody branch amid soft fern-like foliage. Painted from life on the island of Java by Dutch botanical illustrator Berthe Hoola van Nooten.
