This cushion cover reproduces the late 15th-century armorial bearings of John, Lord Dynham — an English baron whose coat of arms was woven into a magnificent South Netherlandish tapestry between 1488 and 1501. The original is one of the finest surviving examples of medieval heraldic textile art, with stags as supporters, a crowned helm, and a dense millefleurs ground of botanical detail.

This cushion brings that quiet, scholarly grandeur to your sofa in soft historic tones — deep blues, sage greens, and warm gilded gold — printed in Europe on a 50% cotton / 50% polyester blend. Pairs beautifully with dark academia, English country, gothic revival, and grandmillennial interiors — equally at home on a velvet sofa, a layered bed, or beside a reading chair in a study filled with old books.

ABOUT THE PRINT
This is a new reproduction rather than an antique. The source is a high-resolution photograph of the original artwork, so the patina, texture, and small irregularities of the original are part of the print itself. Colors may shift slightly between screen and cloth depending on your monitor.
