This wall tapestry recreates the late 15th-century armorial bearings of John, Lord Dynham — an English baron whose coat of arms was woven into a magnificent South Netherlandish tapestry between 1488 and 1501. The original is one of the finest surviving examples of medieval heraldic textile art, with stags as supporters, a crowned helm, and a dense millefleurs ground of botanical detail behind a bold central shield.

This reproduction brings that quiet, scholarly grandeur to your wall in soft historic tones — deep blues, sage greens, and warm gilded gold — printed in Europe on premium cotton blend. Pairs beautifully with dark academia, English country, gothic revival, and grandmillennial interiors — perfect above a bed as a textile headboard, behind a writing desk, or in a study filled with old books and worn leather.
